Updating Your Website Information
Whether the site is only on www.alssar.org or separately maintained, key chapter information needs to be kept up-to-date. This information includes at least the names of the officers and committee chairs, their email addresses, and the dates, times and locations of chapter meetings. It is the responsibility of the chapter President or his designee to send updated information to the Webmaster, Compatriot Ron Diamond (magicdiamond@mac.com).
Chapters are best served when they submit complete (whole) replacement documents for posting, rather than send single changes. Compatriot Diamond is then able to easily post the document on a one-for-one basis. In addition to sending notice to the State Secretary and President, chapters should specially ensure changes are submitted to Compatriot Diamond after the installation of new officers.
Also, each member may update his information on the National database system by using the Online Member Database System. The following website

provides instructions on how to access the SAR member database, create a member’s user ID and password, how to update your information and how to get database support if you experience any problems entering the web database system. |
