Updating Your Website Information

Some chapters have their own website and links to them are provided off www.alssar.org. However, whether the site is only on www.alssar.org or separately maintained, key chapter information needs to be kept up-to-date. This includes a list of at least the primary officers and the dates, times and locations of chapter meetings. Chapters are best served when they submit complete (whole) replacement documents for posting, rather than send single changes to the Webmaster, Compatriot Ron Diamond (magicdiamond@mac.com). Compatriot Diamond is then able to easily post the document on a one-for-one basis. In addition to sending notice to the State Secretary and President, chapters should specially ensure changes are submitted to Compatriot Diamond after the installation of new officers. Also, all members may establish a user ID and password on the redesigned NSSAR website at www.sar.org.
