Click here to go to chapter website The Richard Henry Lee Chapter was first chartered February 7, 1953 in Auburn, Alabama. The Chapter was re-chartered on October 27, 1993, replacing that charter which had lapsed several years earlier. The driving force for re-chartering was due to the efforts of Dr. James Edgar Foy, V, Dean of Students at Auburn University. The Chapter meets at Saugahatchee Country Club, 3800 Bent Creek Road, Opelika, AL at 12:00 noon on the fourth Friday of the month, except the months of June, July and August. Meeting dates and times for November and December are subject to change to accommodate for the holidays. Wives of members, prospective members and any others interested in the patriotic, historical and educational objectives of the Sons of the American Revolution are welcome at all meetings.
