The General John Archer Elmore Chapter was chartered by the Alabama Society Board of Managers on March 1, 2008, and was formally instituted as a chapter with a ceremony on March 29, 2008, at the Prattville Holiday Inn. Click here for a copy of the Institution Ceremony Program: "Chapter Institution Program" Monthly meetings are held on the third Sunday of each month at 2 p.m. at Shoney's in Prattville, with the exception of June, July, and August. There will be no April meeting, and the May meeting will be combined with the General Richard Montgomery Chapter meeting in the form of a backyard spring potluck picnic at the home of Compatriot Larry Cornwell, 7725 Halcyon Forest Trail, the second Saturday of May (May 10), beginning at 4 p.m. Directions: I-65 to I-85, exit right off exit 9 (Taylor Road), turn at the first right (Halcyon Forest Trail), 12th house on the right (7725).
