Board of Managers Meeting Fall 2011

Dear Compatriot,

In accordance with the Constitution and By-laws of the Alabama Society, Sons of the
American Revolution, notification is hereby given of a meeting of the Board of Managers
(BOM) of the Society on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the MAX
Federal Credit Union, 400 Eastdale Circle, located in the Eastdale Mall area off the
East Boulevard in Montgomery, AL. A lunch buffet will be served by the Ladies Auxiliary.
The cost of registration and lunch is $20.00. See the additional information enclosure
to make reservations. There will also be a meeting of the Ladies Auxiliary;
there is no registration or lunch costs for the Ladies who attend.

This regular meeting is called to conduct the business of the Alabama Society. Your
presence is requested as a member of the BOM which includes all Society elected officers,
the Society National Trustee, and all former Presidents in good standing. Each
chapter is authorized two voting members on the BOM in addition to those Chapter
members who currently are eligible based on other positions held. Committee Chairmen,
not otherwise members of the BOM, are requested to attend this meeting that they
might present committee reports. ALSSAR members who are not on the BOM are invited
to attend and participate in the discussion but may not vote.

I request that the Trustee, and all Officers, Chapter Presidents, and Committee Chairmen
submit your report in writing to be received by the undersigned no later than
September 29th. For chapters, the “Chapter Report Form for BOM” found on the
ALSSAR website may be substituted for narrative reports.

Please see the enclosure for reservations and directions to the Credit Union facility and
information regarding the submission of reports. Please return the registration form
with the required fee by September 29th.
